 A new brand has been launched by Pasini Metals Productions. Pass was born from the innovation-sensitivity of a company which has operated in the field of brass handles for 40 years and which establishes a collaborative relation aimed at  exploring new markets, through the tireless search for excellence of Consorzio POLI.design of the Milan Polytechnic.
The items presented by Pass highlight the traditional skills involved in metalworking, and fuses these with the creativity of a design perspective, in a harmonious mixture of materials, finishes and novel functions.
Pass is the new brand for the threshold design, which blends innovation and poetry within the name of an Italian trademark.
Plus is the first line of items conceived for PASS, where design is the guiding element; the leitmotif.
Plus breaks away from the traditional way of thinking about a handle and suggests new functional solutions, yet leaves ample room for emotion.
The three levels of innovation involved in the design of Plus are:
• novel functions; the handle is viewed not only as a lever which serves to open a door but as a truly dynamic object, used for hanging, leaving messages, etc
• new materials and finishes; the Corian®, the wengé wood, the matt nickel...
• new shapes; a simple and linear styling offering particular flexibility in the combination of components and finishes, suitable for a number of styles, from the sober to the eccentric
Communicating
Conveying the expression of the being, each gesture is also, and always, a way of communicating. A mark, a decoration, an invitation to make a move, to give emotions.
Doors are for opening, true, but why not also to leave a message? A good handle is a faithful object, and moves for no other purpose than that of welcoming us. The lever model Plus-O, available in various materials and finishes, has a hole which decorates its
surface and is also a suitable receptacle for a flower.
Hanging
Observing, considering, perceiving; actions as much of our minds as our eyes.
Small gestures, habits and attitudes. It is in the simplicity of thought that the design of Plus shows the marriage between the beautiful and the useful.

Models Plus-UP, Plus-LINE and Plus-O are fitted on a plaque with a hook—thought up just for those who want to put the handle to good use.
Customizing
Combining materials and finishes, combining details with the whole, choosing to act and not stand still. Never!

Plus has been specifically created to be customised: with its basic combination of elements, it is possible to create infinite and personalised models to suit the user’s taste as well as the usability demands posed by the room.
