Description:
A Pair of 'Corno Scanalato' Lever Handles with Roses and Keyhole Covers

This product is supplied by the Angelo Becchetti foundry, with 125 years experience in door hardware production.
It was 1882 when Giacinto Becchetti started the first forge for the working of brassware.
The first radical change took place in 1907. During that year Giacinto's first born, Angelo, had taken charge of the Company. His first action was to move the plant from the bottom of the valley to Lumezzane, where by then electricity was available.

At the end of World War II, the Company defined its actual structure, distinguished by his production of brass accessories of the highest quality. It is thanks to them that the BAL brand has imposed itself in ever-increasing market, becoming a synonym of refinement and reliability. The careful attention in every phase of the production, the care for the finishings and the classical designs made BAL items the perfect choice as furnishing complements in every century, for all those environments where it was essential that every little detail was in perfect harmony with the prestigious surroundings.

Nowadays, the company continues its business led by the 5th generation of heirs. Hardware items, door and window handles as well as the large range of pomels, zippers, coat hangers and accessories that were once thought of as common are today beautiful furnishing and finishing items.

More than a century has gone by since the establishment of the company, but all the characteristics of BAL items and the owner’s philosophy, which made them famous, have not changed: the skilled hands of the workers taking great care of every detail, even at the start of the third millennium; their devotion to work; and above all, a great productive flexibility that enables BAL to satisfy every customer request, even the more challenging.

BAL handles have embellished the doors of
Kings, like Baldovino of Belgium,
• museums and worship places,
• Gabriele D’Annunzio's "Vittoriale" in Gardone Riviera, first home and then museum dedicated to the poet,
• the cruiseships of your dreams such as Andrea Doria,
• bank branches (CARIPLO),
• public offices like the Vatican Governorship,
• historical villas like "Villa Feltrinelli" on the Garda Lake,
• big hotels known all over the world like "Grand Hotel dei Dogi" and "Hotel Cipriani" in Venice
• and many more places and houses.
