Description:
Original quality brass, 19th century, handgrip for interior non-electric bell pull systems. This would have been fitted up with a length of tapestry or embroidered cloth and used with a tight wire interior bell system. The other parts required to operate the bell system are usually available in stock. The two screw-on end caps will remove to permit material to be fitted. All has been lacquered and is complete and in good and working order.
