This product is an antique reproduction made exclusively for ArchitecturalClassics.com. We select the best manufacturers, and provide them with classical and compelling hardware pieces, hunted down in antique fairs all over Europe. Thanks to blending great craftsmanship with unique, period designs, we are able to supply you with this fantastic range of traditional door furniture pieces.
All the products in this range are made of the highest quality, solid brass; they are a substantial weight and feel great in hand. The brass has not been lacquered so it will develop a lovely patina over time, giving it an elegant, period look.
Architectural Classics’ history goes back to 1980, when Niall McDonagh established his architectural salvage business. In late 1990s the company realised the huge potential that was brought with the new communication medium – the Internet. Since 2000, the company has been trading under the ArchitecturalClassics.com domain, systematically growing into one of Europe’s leading retailers of decorative hardware. Nowadays, Architectural Classics distributes quality door furniture supplied by over 25 manufacturers, from all corners of the world.

I recieved my door knocker very quickly. The service was great. But the threads in the knocker must have been done in metric as oppsed to american standard. Nothing we did worked. I had to go to a locksmith and have the threads rethreased, Also the bolt that goes through the door was too short, the bolts were 1.5 " we needed 2.4". ....it is on the door now but it took a better part of 3 hours to fugure it out. All in all I would still recommand this item.It is quit beautiful.
