While stock lasts. It is a great example of traditional brass door knobs, which were very trendy in late 19th century. The first patent for applying a glass knob to a metal shank was awarded in 1837. These very early knobs have not been well researched nor identified, but it is likely that most of the earliest variety used straight iron shanks. By the 1860s, the typical glass doorknob was set into a tapered, stepped back, brass shank that was machine rolled around the base of the knob. (Source: Antique Hardware, H. Weber Wilson).
These Victorian door knobs were originally designed in England, most likely around 1880-1900. The knob has been pressed in a form of flower and set in a fixed brass rosette. It is a true copy of the original pair.
These knobs are suitable for mortice locks (the back plates are fixed to the knobs). The set includes a spindle and the screws. Dimensions: depth 7.5 cm (2.9"), plate diameter 6 cm (2.3"), knob diameter 6.5 cm (2.5"). Spindlesize: 8 mm.
