For some, even a perfect copy is still nothing but a copy. The history of our very own company is built on the pleasures of antiquing, and despite the demand for door furniture and door handle reproductions, we continue to provide a wide range of genuine antiques.

Nothing can compare to the thrill of knowing that a piece of door furniture was born decades before you were; understanding that it has seen wars be won and lost, grandparents pass on and grandchildren be born, seasons rise and fall, scandals come and then be forgotten, great loves blossom and then settle.

Many of the products in the Antique collection date from over a hundred years ago, in the times before television, cars and even air travel. Our door knobs have been held in the hands of long-gone mothers, fathers and children; our door knockers have alerted generations of homeowners that company has arrived; and our locks have secured worldly possessions that have neither an electrical plug, a cathode tube, a keyboard or an LCD display.

Most antique products come with a rundown of their origins, so that you don't need to wonder about what the world was like when your knocker, door handle, lock or bell was minted — you can find out for yourself.

Antique pieces of door furniture from the collection are all cleaned and restored before they reach you - buying antique door furniture does not mean extra work for you. We are the only company in our sector recognised by the Irish Antique Dealers Association, and made a three-year commitment to achieving accreditation with the International Confederation of Antique Dealers (CINOA). We are experienced in the careful, precise handling that is necessary to preserve antiques in their original condition.
