At the Architectural Classics blog, we combine traditionally comprehensive information on caring for your antiques, with the offbeat ‘Art Deco’ style fun and trivia from the world of old homes and door furniture.

Lucy,
Thanks for writing about our company and the Footpull. I agree, the Footpull is NOT intended for home restroom door use and I say the same thing, "If you need this for your own home, how dirty are YOU really?" Our device only works on inward "free-swing" doors (not doors with a turn handle...kind of defeats the purpose of not touching the handle) Most restaurants, office buildings and universities have these kind.

We do have a smaller, plastic version that we are comping out with soon to be place on you home refrigerator door, strictly for opening the door while hand s are full, etc.

I would love to send a Footpull to your favorite restuarant (that has an inward "free-swing"door, of course). Let meknow through my email. Thanks, Steve
